How To Use
The first step is to prepare a clean, oil-free canvas. Shower or bathe with a light foamy cleanser and gently dry your face. I found myself using the gadget mostly on auto. So simple. The LCD on-screen directions provide arrows pointing to the treatment region, the diamond tip movement direction, and the treatment duration for each location (at least on auto mode). I utilized the manual mode to treat specific regions including my hands, chest, and sun-damaged skin. I am a sluggish wand user, so doing the auto mode on each side of my face, neck, and chest worked best for me. So I exfoliated the right side, then began over on the left. It feels like a finer grit sandpaper scratching on my skin. It's advisable not to use the diamond tip wand on the same area of skin more than twice to avoid irritation.
During your treatment, always change the diamond tip with a clean wool filter. This will prolong the machine's life. I started off apprehensive. My first attempt was difficult and scary since the suction kept the tip plastered to my face. Using the diamond tip wand, I quickly learned to support the skin I was working on with my other hand. A kink in the tube or the tip not flat on the skin might cause loss of suction. The diamond point should not be pressed too hard on the skin. Only a minor scratching should occur. This was my third treatment, and it got easier with each use. One treatment each week from forehead to chest was well tolerated. I now exfoliate my face and neck twice a week, and focus on my chest, hands, and other problem areas throughout the week. I truly enjoy it. It takes only a few minutes to give yourself a good skin treatment while watching a movie. Unlike other beauty products I've had, I don't put off using the trophy skin’s MicrodermMD. So, I assume it's the quick satisfaction.
After a treatment, your skin should be pink to slightly red, but not abraded or enraged. After each usage, carefully care for your skin. I thoroughly rinse and dry the treated areas with cold water to eliminate any leftover residue. Finally, apply a soothing, moisturizing serum or a mild antioxidant oil, then your preferred mineral sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher. Followed by my favorite skin oil, Your Best Face Private Reserve Antioxidant Oil ($75 in the shop) in sandalwood. Unless you used the diamond tip too aggressively, most of the redness and discomfort from the therapy goes away the next morning. Using appropriate moisturizing and nourishing skin care products to rebuild the skin's natural barrier typically clears up the redness within a few hours.
After use, your device is simple to clean and store. Remove the diamond tip first, then the black wool filter. If your wand has a filter, you shouldn't need to clean it. But I've seen junk build there, so simply tip it up and tap it out. It actually advises against cleaning within the wand. If you are treating a big area, turn off your equipment and examine the filter. Change it again for huge regions. Always use a clean filter. I replace filters after each usage and double verify before use. A brush is provided to clean the diamond tip of skin dirt. I also clean the tip with an alcohol towel. Remember, you're removing dead skin cells from the epidermis (top layer) and don't want to add dirt or germs. My filters include dead skin particles and tiny hairs that I do not want on my face.
When I initially started using the trophy skin’s MicrodermMD, my skin felt much softer and smoother. Some people could become a little flushed afterward, depending on their skin type. After approximately an hour, my skin begins to glow with a tinge of pink. My skin lost that drab appearance that could only be fixed with layers of foundation and some strong highlighter. This is why microdermabrasion is so great: the immediate enjoyment and evidence that it works.
For the last week, I've been using Trophy Skin's MicrodermMD. After getting the package, I was disappointed to discover it didn't function because I had planned to use it right away. I phoned the company's customer support number, and they sent me a new one. I, on the other hand, had no intention of waiting a week for the new DVD to arrive. I immediately began using the machine. Even if the instructions had been available straight immediately, the machine's auto mode served as a helpful guide. For how long is specified. For each part of your face, neck, and chest, use the wand in the proper direction. A few usages have produced a noticeable improvement in the feel of my skin, but I don't think it will be noticeable for a while. A serum is applied on my face once a week after using this product. After every usage, the filter is always completely empty. This is after using it every other day for a month straight! The only drawback to this device is that the replacement parts appear to be a bit pricey (tips, filters, etc). 3.4 months' worth of filters appear to be included in the box, and the tip is meant to be swapped out every six months.
The trophy skin’s microdermmd treatment surprised me since I had not expected it to be as successful as a normal microderm treatment at an aesthetics clinic.
